Useful information

Coming from abroad

You will need to have the correct travel documents to travel to Canada. Please note that a new entry requirement is now in effect: foreigners who do not require a visa must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to travel to or stopover in Canada. Exceptions include U.S. citizens and travelers with a valid Canadian visa. If you are unsure whether you need an eTA or a visitor visa, please click here. The organizing committee volunteers to help international participants obtain the travel documentation they need.

Invitation letters

Deadlines for obtaining the required official documents may vary, please consult the Government of Canada website for this purpose. We can provide you with an invitation letter once you have registered. Once payment has been received, send a request by email to info@inrest.ca and a letter will be sent to you by email over the next few days.

To provide a letter of invitation, the organizers must ensure your intention to participate in the conference if your travel request is granted. Individuals who require an official letter of invitation to obtain a visa and permission to participate in the symposium must first register for the symposium and then request a letter of invitation for a visa during the symposium process. 'registration.

The invitation letter does not constitute a financial obligation for the organizers. All costs related to the symposium are the sole responsibility of the participant. Please note that we cannot guarantee that you will obtain a visa. The decision to issue a visa is entirely at the discretion of the embassy or consulate. The conference organizers would not be able to change the government agency's decision if your request was denied.

It is important to plan your trip in advance and submit your visa application well in advance of the symposium date. We recommend that you apply for your visa as soon as possible.
